Yes it's true - our favourite Swedes are back to prove that last Autumn’s warmly received single Safe Place was no flash in the pan, and deliver a brand new pair of tasty tracks.

Borderline is a deeply magical and magically deep track, whose middle name would be subtlety (if tracks actually had middle names that is). A lush instrumental full of Plej’s trademark flourishes, Borderline successfully avoids any sort of predictability - which some would consider a welcome breath of fresh air in the current (musical) climate.

Remixers of the moment Mock & Toof have also got their hands on the Borderline parts and deliver a version that can only be described as being so choc-full of Mockery and Toofery! The duo have delivered a sublime disco-tinged version and we hope you'll agree it's mighty fine.

The third track Freaks is on the other hand a completely different kettle of sardines. It's by way of an affectionate tribute by Plej mainman Arvid to his punk roots. Coming across like Was Not Was in a deranged/surreal Gothenberg night club, it somehow shouldn't sound like Plej, nor should it sit comfortably with their sublime electronica. Yet it somehow does on both counts. Woodwork squeaks indeed.

Both Borderline and Freaks will be making an appearance on the eagerly awaited, and long time coming, new Plej album which is scheduled for release in early summer.
